Warrior Wednesday: This Sucks...
WARRIOR WEDNESDAY

Have you ever thought: “Man this sucks, I really wish I did’t have to do this.”
Usually this thought pops in my head right before a run or when I am in the middle of doing the dishes. This leads to a lot of unnecessary suffering. I also end up pushing the thing off a lot more since I think it will suck.
When I catch myself doing this I have this reframe:
“Instead of I have to do this thing, I get to do this thing.”
Powerfully simple and really helps breaks the negative thought process.
3 examples to help better explain:
I have to finish this project for work → I get to learn, experiment, and create something I am proud of
I have to do the dishes → I get to listen a good song/podcast and focus on something satisfying
I have to train today → I’m gonna get a sick pump and feel much better after
